This one's built around a bold kundan and meenakari pendant — firoza (turquoise) drops, fuchsia stones, and a central polki-style kundan set in a gold-toned oxidised silver frame. Below it, a jali grid of tiny gold-finish flowers hangs with a fringe of oxidised silver ghungroo drops that move when you do. The cord itself is a deep brick-red thread with ribbed silver beads and black accent knots, fastening at the back with a simple hook-and-loop closure. Our own design — you won't be running into this one at every wedding.

Wear it over a mirror-work kurta, a plain cotton saree, or — honestly — a white shirt and jeans and let the pendant carry the whole look.
